	Then it was over to the beautiful business suites of the Venetian Hotel for the audiophile equipment companies I'd never visited before, because they were far away at the Alexis Park Hotel at previous CES shows... A highlight was Essential Sound Products Inc. of Rochester, started in 1995 by music lover Michael Griffin, a 25-year General Motors employee. Griffin took a buyout from GM in 2005 to devote full time to the business, which is now ready for mass production of its high-end power supply cords that minimize distortion in audio equipment
