Price & Terms:
Unless otherwise specified in writing by Essential Sound Products, Inc. (Essential Sound Products), all products will be sold at their respective quoted prices, plus shipping and taxes. All prices are quoted in $US. You are responsible for paying any tax (including sales tax), duty, customs, brokerage fees, or any other fee or charge imposed on, in connection with the transaction, in addition to the prices quoted or invoiced. Unless otherwise specified in writing by Essential Sound Products, all orders are to be prepaid or C.O.D. In the event that delayed payment terms are extended by Essential Sound Products, such terms shall commence and be referenced to the invoice date. The payment date is the day that payment is received by Essential Sound Products.
Payment Forms:
We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Discover/Novus, and PayPal for purchases from our online store. Purchases can also be made by Personal, Company, or Cashiers Check or Money Order by mailing to Essential Sound Products, Inc., P.O. Box 81998, Rochester, MI 48308-1998, USA. Checks and Money Orders must be in US Dollars and cashable at a US bank (a US bank will be printed on the face of the document). Checks must also be pre-printed with a name and an account number - we do NOT accept starter checks, double endorsed checks or foreign money. We appreciate if your mail order is preceeded by Contact Essential Sound Products so we are alerted that it is on the way and can set aside any low-inventory items. We reserve the right to delay processing of your order until the funds have cleared.
Order Processing Procedure:
Required information to process your order includes your 1) first and last name, 2) email address, 3) street address, 4) city, 5) state/province, 6) postal code, and 7) country. You will receive on-screen and/or email order confirmations upon checkout or receipt of mail orders. Orders paid for by credit/debit card are authorized and captured at checkout. Orders paid for by secured PayPal are approved to ship upon confirmation of receipt of funds. Upon shipping approval, we will send a shipping confirmation e-mail to the address entered during checkout. Essential Sound Products reserves the right to adjust order charges for shipping costs if real-time shipping estimates are not available at the time of yout order. We will make every attempt to contact you with the shipping options and associated costs so you can make the choice of shipping method. If your package is lost because you provided the wrong address, we will not re-ship unless shipping costs are paid again.
Shipping Options & Delivery Timing:
Essential Sound Products does its best to ensure your delivery arrives on time. However, delivery dates are not guaranteed and there may be a number of unforeseen reasons why your items will arrive after the estimated arrival date. Your items may arrive in different shipments. Depending on the type and quantity of items in your order, we may pack and ship them in different packages to ensure they arrive on time and undamaged. Essential Sound Products reserves the right to make partial shipments. You will never be charged more for shipping and handling than what appears at checkout. The following are availalbe shipping options and typical delivery times. We ship worldwide! Not all shipping options are available to every location. Please read the restrictions for further clarification of each shipping option.

Cancellations: Please contact Essential Sound Products via telephone during office hours and if your order hasn't shipped, we will cancel it. If a cancellation request is sent via e-mail or by leaving a message on our answering machine, we will try our best to cancel your order once we receive your message, but it's possible it could ship before your message is received. If this happens, you may still return the order at your expense. Essential Sound Products reserves the right to cancel any order, at any time, for any reason.
Satisfaction Guarantee
Any item can be returned for any reason for a full refund of the purchase price (excluding shipping) up to 30-days from the ship to date.
If you wish to replace the item with another, please place a new order, and return your original purchase at your earliest convenience for a refund. Orders received or placed between November 1 and December 31 may be returned until January 31 the following year. Custom orders are final sale and are exempted from our satisfaction guarantee.
Returns Policy
To receive a full refund on a returned item all returned products must be returned in “like new” re-salable condition, and include the following:
- Valid Return Authorization (RA) number.
- Original packaging (manufacturer's box, all dunnage such as foam and plastic bags, etc.)
- All included documentation (manuals, warranty cards, registration information, etc.)
The RA number must not be written on the original manufacturer's packaging or box. Please write the RA number on the label used to return the item or the brown shipping box. Essential Sound Products reserves the right to be the final judge of the functional condition and appearance of returned items. Unless otherwise agreeded, you the customer are responsible for return shipping costs. Your return will usually be processed within 5 business days after receipt of the item(s). Essential Sound Products does not ship replacement products before we receive your return (cross-ship). If you need a replacement sooner than the timeline outlined above, please place a new order on the website, independent of the returns process. Depending on the applicable policies above, you can request either a credit or a replacement when you return your product. If you request a credit, your original method of payment will be credited as soon as possible after your return is processed and approved. If you request a replacement product, your replacement order will be shipped once your return is processed and approved. Shipping timing will be subject to product availability.
Products that are intended for permanent installation including hard-wire kit power cords and duplex outlets are not returnable.
Custom order products are final sale and not returnable for refund. Power distributors are custom build-to-order, however; are returnable subject to a 20% restocking fee.

Warranty Terms & Conditions
By placing an order on this web site, you indicate that you have read and agree to the following warranty and return policies, and Terms of Use conditions. To receive a full refund on a returned item all returned products must be returned in “like new” re-salable condition, and include the following:
New Product Warranty
Essential Sound Products, as manufacturer of The Essence Reference, MusicCord Professional Series and MusicCord ESpecial Series ac power cords and power distribution assemblies, warrants to the original owner that these products shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the product. This warranty is limited to personal, non-commercial usage only. "Physical damage" to any Essential Sound Products, Inc. product that is deemed to be caused by irregular usage or abuse voids the terms of this warranty. Physical damage includes dents, cracks, chips, evidence of cutting, crushing, or any other type of damage sustained by irregular usage. Cosmetic damage caused by normal wear and tear are not covered under warranty.
Certified Used Product Warranty
The term "Certified Used" applies to products, which have been previously sold and returned, reconditioned as required by Essential Sound Products, Inc. or an authorized agent, and repackaged for selling purposes. Essential Sound Products, as manufacturer/certifier of MusicCord Professional, ESpecial and The Essence Reference series of ac power cords and power distribution assemblies, warrants to the original purchaser that these products shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of five (5) years from the date of purchase.
Limitation
Essential Sound Products' obligation under this warranty is limited to repairing or replacing at its option, any product that is returned to Essential Sound Products, Inc. or to the dealer from which purchased, within said warranty period, and upon examination shall disclose to Essential Sound Products' reasonable satisfaction to have been defective in material and/or workmanship. In no event shall Essential Sound Products, Inc. be responsible for injury, property damage or other consequential damages arising directly or indirectly out of the product, notwithstanding the fact that said injury, property damage or other consequential damages arose directly or indirectly from an actual or alleged defect in materials and/or workmanship.
Exclusive Warranty
This warranty is the only warranty applicable to the power cord, power distribution component or accessory and is expressly in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied, including any implied warranty of the merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, and any other obligation or liability on the part of Essential Sound Products. Essential Sound Products neither assumes nor authorizes any other person to assume for it any other obligation or liability in connection with these products.

Essential Sound Products seeks to continually improve our products and processes, and reserves the right to change product appearance, features, specifications and pricing without notice. Please read product features and benefits web pages for the latest, most accurate descriptions. Cord lengths are not precise and may vary +/- 3-inches (75mm).
Essential Sound Products reserves the right to correct clerical or similar errors relating to price or any other term shown in this Agreement. The failure of Essential Sound Products to insist, in any one or more instances, upon performance of any of the terms, covenants and conditions of this Agreement shall not be construed as a waiver or relinquishment of any rights granted hereunder or the future performance of any such term, covenant or condition.
Acceptance & Assignment:
You (buyer) shall be deemed to have made an unqualified acceptance of these Sales Terms & Conditions (Agreement) on the earliest to occur of the following: (a) Essential Sound Products' receipt of a copy of this Agreement signed by Buyer; (b) buyer's payment of any amounts due under this Agreement; (c) buyer's delivery to Essential Sound Products of any material to be furnished by buyer; (d) buyer's receipt of the Products; or (e) any other event constituting acceptance under applicable law. Neither party may assign this Agreement or any rights or obligations hereunder without the prior written consent of the other party.
Governing Law:
The internal laws of the State of Michigan, U.S.A., shall govern the rights and obligations of Essential Sound Products and Buyer under this Agreement.
